Macca was brilliant last year.

Oh come on ... his voice was cracked, weak, out of tune and the self-indulgent masturbatory inter-song twaddle was an embarrassment.

Elton John (and i'm far from a fan) has just come on and given the crowd exactly what they want ... all the hits ... with zest and energy without disappearing up himself.
