Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sack the Chief Minister of the state of Manipur, N Biren Singh, over his failure in handling the ethnic violence between the Meitei and Kuki communities in the area. Kharge said that Modi should confiscate weapons stolen from extremist organisations and anti-social elements and also start talks with all parties involved to find a common political solution.
