Love Island recently changed its Twitter bio[/caption]

It comes after one person spotted that the Love Island Twitter page has changed its bio recently.

The bio reads: “Make hay while the sun shines or whatever they say! #LoveIsland and @LoveIsland tweets an replies may be used on social, incl your name and/or Twitter handle.”

Someone shared the update on Reddit, and wrote: “Twitter challenge with this lot would be insane.”

Another penned: “Omg if they bring back the tweet challenge, this truly will be an elite season. I’m not really sure why they got rid of it- you can find plenty of tweets that would cause drama that aren’t nasty. Like “X said this about Y” for example.”

A third wrote: “If there is a time and a season to bring back the Twitter challenge, it is now!! This cast has the potential to EAT!”

A fourth person added: “OMG Twitter challenge?”

In the past it’s caused tears, fallouts and major drama – but in recent years it’s been scrapped from production.

At the time, insiders told The Sun Online: “The Twitter challenge won’t be on this year’s series – it hasn’t been ditched for good, it’s just not happening on the winter season.”

It last happened when popular Love Island couple Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were on the show in 2019.

At the time, while the tweets picked seemed to stir up trouble between the islanders, many fans took to Twitter to discuss how they thought they had been written by producers on a fake new account.

One fan wrote: “They’re picking accounts with like 30 followers. So the producers have made fake accounts are now getting them to read their own tweets #LoveIsland”

While another revealed: “I’ve searched all these @‘s that have tweeted these so called “tweets” and they’re all fake account that have two follows and follow one #loveisland”

A third said: “I’m sure the tweets shown were fake, of all the tweets that popped off these are the ones you show them? Which producer sat down and wrote those themself? #LoveIsland.”

Meanwhile, others moaned that the tweets weren’t savage enough.
