Glastonbury 2023 fans shocked as Brandon Flowers shows off new look as he performs with Elton John
KILLERS front man Brandon Flowers showed off a new look as he performed with Sir Elton John at Glastonbury yesterday.
The Mr Brightside singer appeared on the Pyramid stage as one of Elton‘s four special guests at the popular music festival on Sunday night.
Fans went wild as Brandon, 42, belted out Elton‘s much-loved tune Tiny Dancer in a very smart red suit.
The rock star looked incredible with radiant skin, gleaming teeth and a perfect styled quiff.
During the performance some pointed out on Twitter that he looked a little different – and some said that Brandon looked like Alan Partridge.
One said on the social media platform: “Not Brandon Flowers giving Alan Partridge #Glastonbury.”
Another wrote: “So far, people saying Brandon Flowers resembles an American TV Evangelist, Patrick Bateman, Alan Partridge, and what Jimmy Carr is trying to make himself look like.”
Others rushed to Twitter to praise the collaboration.
A third wrote: “Brandon Flowers UNREAL.”
A fourth chimed in: “Brandon flowers on the stage with Elton John, amazing!!!”
Before he headed out on stage, Elton said: “My next guest, I first met in 2005 When I started playing in Las Vegas, and he came around to my hotel suite to play me his band’s first album, which was called Hot Fuss.
“We’ve been friends ever since. He was the first person I thought of us to come and sing with me, even though he’s played Glastonbury six times with The Killers.
“So I’d like to introduce my dear friend, fantastic artist, Brandon Flowers.”
Elton was also joined by Jacob Lusk, Stephen Sanchez, and Rina Sawayama.
Some music fans have slammed Dua Lipa as she revealed what she did instead of appearing alongside him at Glastonbury.
Instead Dua Lipa, 27, was at a family meal and didn’t hit the stage to perform her hit Cold Heart with the star.
Sir Elton, 76, delivered an incredible headline set to mark the final show of his last ever UK tour.
Others expressed their disappointment after A-list names such as Harry Styles and Britney Spears failed to join him on stage.
