Countryfile viewers all have the same complaint about host Adam Henson

COUNTRYFILE viewers have all had the same complaint about host Adam Henson.

Sunday’s episode of the BBC agricultural and nature show was a rare breeds 50th anniversary compilation.

The Rare Breeds Survival Trust was founded by Adam’s father, Joe Henson, in a bid to reverse the decline of rare breed numbers in the UK.

The show headed to Adam’s farm and the presenter spoke passionately and proudly about the work his father had done and how he’s taken on the mantle.

However, some Countryfile viewers couldn’t help but moan about the episode.

One wrote on Twitter alongside a drunk man staggering until he fell on the ground: “#countryfile if you’re having a drink each time Adam’s dad is mentioned you’ll be like this by now.”

Another tweeted: “Welcome to #Countryfile or as it should really be called “The Adam Henson Blow Your Own Trumpet Show”

They added in a follow up tweet: “how many times will Adam mention his dad was a rare breed farmer during this episode?”

Meanwhile a fellow viewer wrote: “An ‘Adam’s Dad’ rare breed special on #countryfile crops up almost as often as the f***ing ‘Ska is from Coventry’ story on Midlands Today.”

The episode saw Adam welcome a shearing gang on site to remove the coats of his commercial sheep, before learning more about their ancient cousins.

Viewers also had the chance to catch up with an Exmoor pony stallion, Willow Warbler, to find out if he had been welcomed by the mares on the farm and sired any foals.

Elsewhere, a Gloucester bull was prepared for a day at a country show with a thorough head-to-tail wash, and Adam was visited by the chief executive of the British Pig Association for a very special moment.
