Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has launched a crackdown on drug trafficking in the southern Indian state. Addressing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, he urged public participation, warning that drugs destroy not only individuals but whole families and generations. While the Kerala government is taking proactive action to stem drug abuse, Vijayan said involvement from individual families is critical.
