Fantastic performance by Swuzzlebubble at Sovereigns

Congratulations to our members Dave and James Dwyer and Crew aboard Swuzzlebubble. They had a clean sheet of wins in Class 2 at the Simply Blue sponsored Sovereigns Cup which concluded in Kinsale yesterday. Swuzzlebubble also won the overall Sovereigns Cup for best performing boat of the series. 

Other Club members performed very well in the Sovereigns Cup with Class wins for Conor Phelan on Anchor Challenge in Class 3, Ronan Twomey on Rosmarina in Whitesail 1 and the McJenkins Family on Morning After in Whitesail 2.

The 1720 European Championships was also held in Kinsale as part of the Sovereigns Cup. The Howth/Royal Cork Rope Dock Atara won overall retaining their crown from Volvo Cork Week last year. Well done The McBearlas.

The Club had a big fleet of boats racing in Kinsale over the week with lots of great results.
