The BJP, with 66 MLAs, is the principal Opposition party, but has not said anything in public about who it was naming as the Opposition leader. It was initially speculated that the former CM Basavaraj Bommai would be the obvious choice, but the delay of more than a month since the Congress assumed office indicates the Delhi leadership may have other ideas.
