Supreme Court paves way for making Louisiana redraw congressional map to add second Black-majority district

The United States Supreme Court on Monday paved the way for forcing the state of Louisiana to redraw its congressional map to add a second Black-majority district.

CNN reports that the court "reversed plans to hear the case themselves and lifted a hold they placed on a lower court’s order for a reworked redistricting regime."
