BIG on life hacks, a woman has shared a DIY grout cleaner that she believes is the best.
The cleaning guru uses a cheap bathroom essential which she says is the only thing she’s found that works.
“Bet you didn’t know this amazing cleaning hack,” the cleaning enthusiast (@howdoesshe) began in a TikTok video.
“Listerine is actually the best grout cleaner.”
She used a cleaning brush and some Listerine to get into the grout.
Previously a dark gray color, it was now notably cleaner after she wiped off the excess liquid with a rag.
“Look at the difference, can clearly see which parts were cleaned!” she wrote.
“It is seriously the only thing that works,” the cleaning expert added in her caption.
When asked by a viewer if the Listerine works on all colors of grout, she confirmed that it does.
Some viewers of the video were grateful for the hack and expressed it in the comments section.
“Thank you, gonna try this!!” one person exclaimed.
Others suggested things that could potentially tackle the grout as well.
“Love it! Baking soda is good too,” one person said.
“Get Lysol bleach toilet gel and squeeze it in the cracks, works wonders,” a second said.
And a final commenter would find the hack particularly helpful as the tiles in their bathroom were far from sparkling.
