Man in ‘critical but stable condition’ following Hartford shooting
A man was shot on Park Street in Hartford on Monday, police said.
The Hartford Police Department said officers received a ShotSpotter notification at about 12:47 a.m. in the area of 111 Park St. As officers were en route, police said, investigators learned that a man in his 20s was dropped off at Hartford Hospital and treated for a single gunshot wound.
The victim was listed in critical but stable condition, according to Hartford police.
Officers located the shooting scene on Park Street before the Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and assumed the investigation.
Police are still investigating.
