A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has shared her “effortless” way to get grime off your shower door in less than a minute.
Anyone with a glass shower door will know the pain of them getting cloudy and grimy.
And once those watermarks and the grime start to stick, it ruins the whole vibe off the bathroom.
Fortunately, “Wee Scotty Cleaner” Claire has a quick and easy hack to remove any traces of dirt from your shower.
She took to TikTok to share her technique in a quick video demonstration.
Claire started by squeezing “dish soap” onto a hot and wet microfibre cloth before giving the shower door a good wipe with it.
The specific product she used was Fairy Wash Up Liquid which costs £1 a pop in most supermarkets.
“Just start rubbing all that grime off,” Claire said while demonstrating. “And you can feel your cloth not sliding all over.
“It’s actually sticking to the glass. And that’s the way that grime is coming off.”
After wiping the shower door for around 30 seconds, she said that the surface should feel “nice and smooth”.
The next step is to blast the glass with your shower head.
“You’re gonna wash that off because there’s quite a lot of soap on that,” Claire explained. “We’re gonna shower it down.”
The final step was to wipe off the water with a dry microfiber cloth.
Professional cleaner Claire wipes across the shower door horizontally and gradually makes her way down it with the technique.
She described the process, which took around one minute, as “effortless” to get sparkling glass.
“Not a smear,” she said. “How’s that looking folks?
“That was a dirty, grimy shower then.”
Homemakers were blown away by the revelation and vowed to try it themselves.
“I am so testing this out,” one said.
“That shower door looks brand new,” a second penned. “Mine desperately needs this.
“The watermarks are a nightmare.”
Claire assured in the comments that her cleaning hack banishes watermarks, but it’s best to try with Fairy liquid to avoid any soapy residue being left behind.
