Man Utd in huge blow as Harry Kane ‘makes surprise decision on his next club and could join in cut price £85m transfer’
HARRY KANE has dealt Manchester United a huge blow.
That’s after reportedly identifying Bayern Munich as his preferred destination this summer.
And the Germans are even confident of landing Tottenham star Kane for a maximum total of just £85million.
The England captain has just one year left on his Spurs deal.
Kane, 29, has been a loyal servant to the London club, scoring 280 goals since his debut 12 years ago.
But he is yet to win a domestic trophy.
And after Tottenham missed out on Europe, Kane now hopes to finally secure a move to satisfy his hunger for silverware.
Man United have been touted as his most likely destination, with Erik ten Hag in dire need of a new striker.
Real Madrid were also linked after losing Karim Benzema to the great Saudi gold rush.
However, Sky Germany claims Bayern are now leading the race for Kane.

Thomas Tuchel is a long-term admirer, having gone up against the hitman several times while Chelsea boss.
Like United, Bayern are also in need of a goalscorer after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona last summer.
They almost blew their run of 11 consecutive titles as a result, relying on a final day slip from Borussia Dortmund and their own last-gasp winner to top the Bundesliga.
And Bayern have now made Kane their top target following fresh internal talks.
Indeed, the Germans could find their path to the Three Lions hero a smooth one.
That’s because Kane himself is said to be totally enamoured with the idea of playing for Bayern.
Despite being wanted by United, Gareth Southgate’s leading man has made it clear to the Germans that they are his preferred destination this summer.
It would see Kane avoid an awkward reunion with Spurs should he move to a Premier League rival.
And Bayern bosses are now said to be “optimistic” of getting a deal done as they plan their next steps.
The six-time Champions League winners even reckon they can land Kane for an all-in total of £85m.
But they will first have to contend with Daniel Levy, who values Kane at £100m despite his age and dwindling contract status.
