Journalist reports that PL star is not at the top of Spurs’ wishlist this summer
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has said that even though Tottenham are confident of being able to sign Tosin Adarabioyo, the centre-back is not at the top of the North London club’s wishlist.
Adarabioyo had an impressive end to the 2022-23 season and his displays have allegedly caught the eye of Spurs, with The Evening Standard reporting last week that Crystal Palace’s high asking price for Marc Guehi is pushing the Lilywhites towards the Fulham man.
The report asserted that Marco Silva’s men have decided to cash in on the centre-back after their attempts to tie him down to a new contract broke down.
However, this was followed by an update by Fabrizio Romano, who told AMP (23/06/23) recently that Tottenham have not yet made a concrete approach for Adarabioyo.
Adarabioyo is not at the top of Spurs’ wishlist
O’Rourke has now stated in his latest column on Football Insider that even though the English defender is on Spurs’ radar, he is not at the top of their wishlist.
However, he added that Adarbioyo could become a ‘real option’ for Ange Postecoglou’s men later in the window.
The journalist also explained that the centre-back is available for a cut-price fee and Spurs are ‘confident’ of being able to lure him to N17 should they decide to go in for him.

I suspect Tottenham have identified Adarabioyo as an alternative to Edmond Topsoba.
Should the pursuit of the Bayer Leverkusen man collapse for some reason, the Lilywhites would probably find it quite straightforward to strike a deal to sign the Fulham star.
