Senior Block Party

WABA invites you to join us for the Senior Block Party on Saturday, September 9, from noon to 2 pm at Dupont Circle.

If you are a person aged 55 or older, this event is for you! 

We will gather at Dupont Circle where Connecticut Ave intersects the round-about on the northern side at noon. We will be celebrating our community and facilitating a conversation with seniors about traffic safety when walking, biking, and driving. We also are looking forward to hearing from senior residents about their concerns and desires regarding street safety in DC. 

Throughout the program, we will have a chance to hear from transportation professionals and community leaders.

This is an informal and free event. There will be food, music, drinks, trivia, a speaker agenda, and a shaded seating area.
