Lebanon secured a 1-0 victory over Maldives in Group B match on Wednesday to earn themselves a spot in the semifinal of the SAFF Championship. With the win, Lebanon set up the highly anticipated semis clash against hosts India which will take place on Saturday. The lone goal of the contest was scored by the captain Hassan Maatouk, who brilliantly curled in a freekick in the 24th minute.
