Shock moment ‘road rage’ driver films himself smashing car’s windows in rampage after ramming into vehicle
THIS is the shocking moment an alleged road rage driver went on a car window smashing rampage after apparently ramming into another vehicle.
An out-of-control Fiat driver in Bridgend, Wales, was captured chasing a silver car down busy roads, until eventually crashing into the back of them.
The man then appeared to grab an object from his back seat and smashed all four windows, windscreen and rear window on the other car.
He could be heard allegedly shouting: “Get out the car, get out the car”, before returning to his own.
After getting back behind the wheel, the deranged driver apparently launched another pursuit.
He rammed the silver car continuously down a narrow street as he screamed for the other driver to get out.
Then he panned the camera to reveal his hand and the steering wheel both dripping with blood.
Throughout the shocking incident, tyre screeching could be heard and smoke could be seen as the Fiat driver kept the accelerator to the floor.
Both cars ran through multiple red lights and swerved onto the wrong side of the road as they narrowly missed parked and oncoming cars.
A dashcam video from a passing vehicle revealed another shocking collision as the Fiat smashed into the silver car and almost flipped onto its side.
South Wales Police have since confirmed they are investigating the horrific road rage incident.
A police spokesperson said: “We’re aware of a video circulating on social media of dangerous driving involving two cars.”
It was confirmed a 20-year-old man from Bettws had been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of dangerous driving, criminal damage and affray.
“He has been taken to Queens Road police station in Bridgend. Enquiries are ongoing to locate a second individual”, a police spokesperson added.
