The national teacher of the year stops in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - The National Teacher of the Year made a stop in Oklahoma City after getting off a VIP flight on Wednesday.

Rebecka Peterson, a math teacher in Tulsa and has taught high school math for over a decade at Union High School in Tulsa. Peterson is also a proud immigrant, she has lived in several countries around the world and even traveled with her parents as medical missionaries.
