The average price of air tickets on various routes, including Delhi-Mumbai, has declined recently, according to data from the DGCA. There has been a significant increase in airfares on some routes due to the suspension of Go First's operations. On the Delhi-Mumbai route alone, fares dropped by 74% on June 29 compared to June 6. However, ticket prices on other routes like Mumbai-Delhi and Pune-Delhi saw an increase. The Civil Aviation Minister has urged airlines to self-regulate fares and ensure reasonable pricing. The DGCA is closely monitoring the situation.
