State Fair Meadowlands kicks off in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) -- The State Fair Meadowlands kicked off last week in New Jersey and is back with more amusement rides, fair food, and pigs!

There are over 100 pig races annually at the fair, and the attendance is usually in the hundreds of thousands. The fair will be open on weeknights with extended hours on weekends and July 4.
