Home Minister Amit Shah told the Lok Sabha that the provision of sedition offences will be completely repealed in the new bill replacing IPC. Shah has introduced three bills in the Lok Sabha to replace the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure and the Indian Evidence Act, which are British-era laws.
