Report: Spurs have now revoked Harry Kane’s permission to fly to Munich in late twist

There has been yet another twist in the Harry Kane saga as Tottenham Hotspur are now reportedly stopping the striker from flying to Germany and completing the transfer.

There was some hope among Spurs fans last evening that Kane would end up staying despite Bayern’s accepted offer as reports indicated that the striker was not sure about making the switch to Bavaria (Kaveh Solhekol).

However, The Athletic’s David Ornstein subsequently revealed that the 30-year-old had agreed to the transfer, with personal terms on a four-year deal in place ahead of the switch.

It was even reported by Sport 1 journalist Kerry Hau that Kane will have his medical at 10 am German time (9 am GMT) before signing on the dotted line for Bayern Munich.

However, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has now revealed that Tottenham are now delaying the striker from flying to Munich.

The same update has also been reported by Sky Sports News, who claim that Kane is currently in his family home near Stansted airport and is waiting for permission to fly to Munich.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have never known any transfer saga to have so many twists and turns when it is so near its completion. However, I have accepted that the transfer is now happening and I do not want to get my hopes about it potentially falling through.
