Fantasy Football Mock Draft 4.0: Uncertainty at RB makes 2023 the perfect year to jump on a QB early
With each passing week of training camp, any optimism about either of Jonathan Taylor or Josh Jacobs entering the regular season with positive momentum continues to diminish. With that, so does my confidence in their fantasy potential.
Taylor is currently away from the Indianapolis Colts as he continues to rehab his ankle injury. And Jacobs, who wants a new contract from the Las Vegas Raiders, also isn’t with his team. There’s also this from SNY’s Connor Rogers on the New York Jets’ plans for Breece Hall, who’s recovering from a torn ACL.

Even Bijan Robinson, who I just raved about last week, was listed as the No. 3 running back on the Falcons’ opening depth chart.
This type of uncertainty is why each running back took a dive in my latest two-round mock (Hall is out altogether), and why a few quarterbacks have jumped into the mock. In fact, I probably should have picked some QBs in my earlier mocks.
