The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill has been signed by President Droupadi Murmu, which provides for the regulation of digital personal data to safeguard individual's rights and allows lawful processing of personal data. The bill applies to online and offline personal data collected in India and processing outside of India if goods or services are offered to individuals in India.
