Two Hogs+ films nominated for Mid-America Emmys

Fayetteville, Ark. – Two Hogs+ original films – 100 Seasons of Arkansas Basketball and Do You Believe in Fairy Tales – have been nominated in the 47th annual Mid-America Emmy Awards.

100 Seasons of Arkansas Basketball is a three-part series celebrating the foundations of the Razorback Men’s Basketball program, and Do You Believe in Fairy Tales tells the story of the 1998 Razorback Women’s Basketball team who against all odds went on a Cinderella run to the Final Four in the NCCAW Tournament. Both were honored with a nomination for the Emmy award in their respective categories.

The films are just two of a collection of original stories produced by Hogs+ around the University of Arkansas athletic department programs. Both series were directed by Hogs+ Producer Haley Ordway, whose work also includes Why Not You – The Lance Harter Legacy and additional features for Hogs+. Ordway’s newest documentary premiering on Hogs+ this fall, Resurgence, is an hour-long documentary chronicling the culture-changing run of the 1998 Arkansas football team.
