The NDRF teams have rescued several people in the villages of the Nangal and Anandpur Sahib divisions of the Ropar district since Tuesday evening following the flooding of more than 15 villages in the area due to the release of water by BBMB from the Bhakra and Pong dams downstream in the Satluj River.
