Enjoy upscale kosher dining at JZ Steakhouse in Hollywood
Are you searching for an upscale dining experience featuring dimmed lighting, Middle Eastern music, conversation where you can hear each other speak and an extensive glatt kosher menu (certified kosher by the ORB), then visit JZ Steakhouse located in Emerald Woods Plaza in Hollywood.
The family-run restaurant is owned by restaurateur Juke Yankovich who oversees all aspects of JZ’s operation. As I entered the restaurant I spotted Juke seated at the bar. He explained he likes to sit there so he can see everyone.
“I owned many restaurants, most of them in Israel, where I was born. During covid I closed several restaurants in Boca Raton and then opened JZ in December 2021”, Juke said. “We are a family business; one of my two sons is the chef”.
Our attentive server helped us make our selections from the extensive menu. The butternut squash soup, one of my favorites, lived up to my expectations. I had the Chicken Schnitzel (tender crusted chicken breast served with your choice of one side dish) and my guest had the Ribeye Skewer (10 oz boneless steak served with grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes), which we enjoyed very much. We walked out of JZ’s satiated and content.
