Manipur police stated that on Monday and Tuesday intermittent firing by unknown armed miscreants was reported in the adjoining hills near Bethel, Haraothel and Koutruk villages. Search operations were conducted in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Bishnupur and Kangpokpi districts in which 11 arms and 78 ammunition were recovered.
