NeNe Leakes Is Being Sued for Her Shop, Swagg Boutique

NeNe Leakes is facing a new lawsuit.

The 55-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star is being sued over her shop, Swagg Boutique, as her former landlord says she owes money in unpaid rent.

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, NeNe is being sued by her landlord at Sugarloaf Mills, the shopping center where her women’s clothing store was once located.

She reportedly first signed a lease agreement back in 2017, and then extended it for another year in 2021. She then reportedly vacated in January 2022 when the term ended, but never paid off the balance of $22,900 owed under the lease.

The landlord allegedly sent NeNe a letter last month, telling her to pay to avoid legal ramifications, but she apparently didn’t.

The landlord is seeking damages to cover the back rent, plus attorney’s fees.

Swagg Boutique stores shut down in 2020 due to the pandemic, and after finally reopening, she began holding “going out of business” sales at her multiple locations.

Earlier in the year, she responded to rumors about her son’s sexuality.
