I was renovating my house when I discovered something very unusual – so I turned it into an amazing hidden feature

A WOMAN was left amazed after finding a secret tunnel in her house and turning it into an epic hangout space.

Maya showed how the entrance was concealed by a tiny book case, and she cleaned it out to make a snug reading nook.

After discovering the unique space in her home four years ago, she said she was now determined to give it a use in her life.

On her @fixingmytunnel account, she shared how she was cleaning out the small and dusty space to make it liveable.

Maya said: “Clean my secret tunnel with me.

“We have had it for about four years and it’s so crusty and musty and dusty.

“We installed LED lights already.”

Maya showed how she removed the items she had previously dumped inside, before vacuuming and cleaning it thoroughly. 

In a series of videos, she showed her progress transforming it into the snug space of her dreams.

This included adding a comfy mattress, an ivy fake plant hanging, a cake stand, and sweets dispensers on the wall.

She even painted it a pretty pink colour in the latest clip.

Her progress has racked up millions of views, and people have been obsessed with the journey.
