Air India Express is the only profitable airline in the salt-to-steel Tata Group's aviation stable. It registered a profit of ₹116.84 crore in fiscal 2023 as compared to the combined losses of ₹15,530 crore by the other three entities: AirAsia India, Vistara and Air India.
