THIS is the moment fuming Spanish football fans greeted a baffled stranger at an airport.

That’s before handing him a shirt and parading him like a new signing in a protest aimed at their club.

Malaga supporters vented their frustrations after seeing their side drop to Spain’s third tier — their second relegation in just five seasons.

Once the home of stars like Isco and Santi Cazorla, Malaga are now struggling to attract the talent required to take them back to the top.

Indeed, there’s no money available for new signings from other clubs, with manager Sergio Pallicer resorting to a series of free transfers as a result.

And supporters descended on Malaga airport to show the board their anger by playing an elaborate, yet hilarious, prank.

A large group wearing club jerseys held up a banner and chanted as they mobbed a stranger waiting for his taxi.

The bemused man didn’t know where to look as he was made to hold up a shirt, with one fan even pretending to be a security guard keeping other supporters at bay.

But the stranger soon saw the funny side as he was draped in a Malaga scarf.

And he played along by signing his jersey as fans continued to cheer.
