I’ve lost over 80 lbs – my Costco must-haves for losing fat and gaining muscle, a snack I like is only 90 calories each
AFTER losing over 80 pounds, one woman has shared her secrets for snacking while staying snatched.
She shared several food finds from Costco, with one product totaling to only 90 calories per serving.
Merika Perez (@muriikaa) filmed herself at the retail giant in a video on TikTok.
“I already lost over 80 pounds, I’m back on a calorie deficit. Here’s what I’m picking up from Costco to lose fat and build muscle,” she said.
She stocked up on several high protein foods, including different types of chicken.
Merika also threw some frozen fruit into the cart to make smoothies.
She recommended several snacks, including one that only has 90 calories per serving and plenty of protein.
“I grab some Oikos Greek yogurt and some string cheese. Believe it or not, only 90 calories each and seven grams of protein,” she said.
She named one unlikely treat — a popular choice for those seeking a more dramatic gym pump.
“Rice Krispies treats for my pre-workout carb and balance,” she said.
Finally, she revealed the secret to keeping her hair thick and healthy.
“I take collagen powder every single day,” she said, filming a tub of Vital Proteins collagen powder, $31.99.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts on the healthy haul in the comment section.
“I’ve lost 23 pounds since taking your recommendations,” one wrote. “Love your Costco videos, very helpful.”
“Girl that’s incredible I’m happy I can help,” Merika replied.
“How did you start?” another asked. “I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been and I can’t seem to just do it. it’s affecting my mental health at this point.”
“Water,” a third commented. “Drink lots of water, less calories, and more protein. I’ll make a starter video.”
“I just started taking that collagen powder yesterday,” yet another wrote. “It was on sale for $20 at my Costco.”
“Congratulations on your hard work,” one more said. “I’ve lost about 25 and it’s the commitment to yourself and your health that I think makes the biggest difference.”
