‘Trans bigots trying to shut down free speech’- Labour could make misgendering a crime

Demands by transgender activists to halt dissent are a major threat to free speech, say campaigners. They voiced fears after a report by the Institute for Economic Affairs said a future Labour government could introduce hate speech legislation and "misgendering" people could lead to a criminal conviction.
