The council will not sign off until the extension is fished, ie plastered, electrics windows

If you cal your building control officer they’re usually great, unless you’ve been caught cutting corners.

If you’ve paused because of funds, I was told when we were doing ours that there was no time limit to finish…within reason. We had to start within 3 years of permission…but that was start, not finish.
