UAE's Emirates Airline flies over 14 mln passengers in summer season

DUBAI, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Dubai-based Emirates Airline has flown more than 14 million passengers between June and August, marking one of its busiest-ever summer seasons, the official news agency WAM reported Wednesday.

During the period, Emirates has operated nearly 50,000 flights to and from 140 cities, with an average seat load factor of more than 80 percent across its global network, said the report.
