Aldi fans rave about new The White Company candle dupe – it’s only £1.99 and smells ‘lovely’
ALDI fans are raving about a new candle that is said to be a dupe for a pricey high-street favourite.
So if you are obsessed with the smell of The White Company candles, but can’t justify forking out the cash just for your home to smell nice, fear not, Aldi have got just what you need.
Instead of splashing out £22 on a candle from The White Company, Aldi have now released a much more affordable alternative.
Less than your average Starbucks order, at just £1.99, this is a bargain buy you won’t want to miss.
Thrilled with her cheap find, savvy shopper Jojo Brownwithane took to social media to show it off.
Posting on Facebook, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with a staggering 2.3 million members, the Aldi fan explained: “La Mer candle is a perfect dupe of White Company Seychelles….
“In Aldi for £1.99.”
Alongside her post, Jojo attached a picture of her candle burning on an outside table.
While the cheap alternative doesn’t look similar to the pricey Seychelles candle from The White Company, according to Aldi shoppers, it is a ‘perfect dupe’ that smells ‘lovely’.
Not only does it smell great, but the single-wick candle will save you £20.01.
With scents of bergamot, amber and vanilla, this aromatic and soothing candle is sure to leave your home smelling fresh and your guests impressed.
Jojo shared her post just 12 hours ago and it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 88 likes and 22 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the bargain buy and were desperate to nab one for themselves, which many took to the comments to express.
One person said: “I bought several. Even unlit, with [the] lid off, the waft is lovely.”
Another added: “Wow.”
A third commented: “OMG!!!! Neeeeeeeeed.”
Someone else chimed in: “I’ll have to try this.”
Whilst another bargain hunter penned: “Eyes peeled.”
So if you’re a fan of The White Company but your purse can’t afford to keep up, you might want to head down to Aldi.
But you’ll have to be quick – as nothing seems to last long in Aldi when Facebook users get talking!
