In a bizarre turn of events, St Lucia Kings opener Johnson Charles almost got his face knocked off while attempting a scoop shot during a Caribbean Premier League match against Trinbago Knight Riders on Saturday. Charles also almost got dismissed by his own helmet while attempting the shot but was lucky to survive both a serious injury to his face and the dismissal.
