The Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover, designed to last one lunar day, have spent half of their intended time on the lunar surface. The team is hopeful that the systems will come back to life after the 14-day lunar night. The lander and rover are solar-powered and cannot operate during the night when temperatures drop as low as -203° Celsius.
