Not A Goodbye Insists Southampton Star After Loan Exit Sealed

Saints are going through a squad overhaul as a host of players have left the club after they suffered relegation from the Premier League last term.

French full-back Perraud is the latest name to leave the club this summer and he is joining Ligue 1 outfit Nice on a season-long loan.

However, he insists that he is very grateful for the support he has received from the English club.

Perraud indicated that his loan departure is not a goodbye and he also wished luck to Southampton for the rest of the campaign.

Perraud quoted the official confirmation tweet of his departure and posted on his X account: “Always grateful for your support Saints fans, not a goodbye.

“I wish all the best for the season in coming ????????????.”

Perraud joined the Saints in the summer of 2021 from Nice and he still has two years left on his current deal.

He will be hoping to see Southampton back in the Premier League when he returns from his loan spell in France.
