Tottenham Hotspur Star Having Medical Ahead Of Move Away

Spurs have reached an agreement with Leeds to loan Spence out for the season and will pocket a loan fee.

They could end up earning a total of £2m from the loan if certain targets are hit during the duration of the defender’s time at Elland Road.

Now the finishing touches are being put to the move with Spence undergoing a medical at Leeds.

The defender will hope to come through the checks without an issue and then sign a loan contract with the Yorkshire club.

Spence is surplus to requirements for Spurs this season and the club are content to loan him out.

He has been hoping for a move within the Premier League, but he will instead be playing in the Championship with Leeds.

Tottenham will want to see Spence play on a regular basis at Leeds ahead of his return next summer, with the loan having no option to buy contained in it.
