On Tuesday, the New York Yankees announced the release of third baseman Josh Donaldson. The 37-year-old former AL MVP put up some of the worst numbers of his career while donning the pinstripes, only mustering a .207 average and .678 OPS over 584 at-bats with the Bombers.
