The Indian government is considering changing the country's sanctioned name to 'Bharat'. This decision comes as there is ongoing controversy following the formation of an alliance called 'INDIA' by opposition parties. Other countries, such as Turkey, Holland, the Czech Republic, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Swaziland, Iran, and the Republic of Macedonia, have also changed their names in the past for various reasons, including modernizing their image and breaking free from social connections.
