The Indian Navy has received a second barge from a private firm, which is expected to assist in the transportation of articles and ammunition to ships. The barge was delivered in line with the government's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives and has a service life of 30 years. With all equipment sourced from indigenous manufacturers, the barge is a symbol of the 'Make in India' campaign.
