This Morning host lands HUGE presenting job as they share details of exciting new show
A THIS Morning host has landed a huge presenting job as they share details of the show.
Regular host Craig Doyle will front a new show that’s world away from the This Morning sofa.
The Irish TV star, 52, will present The National Football League programme on ITV.
He is replacing Laura Wood who has stepped down from the show after one series.
Craig’s first show will be this Friday on ITV1 at 8pm.
His new role comes after he landed a permanent hosting gig with This Morning.
Craig will host the flagship daytime with Holly Willoughby on rotation with Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond.
Doyle commutes from Ireland for his work commitments here in the UK.
He occasionally shares glimpses inside his stunning countryside house that he shares with his wife Doon.
During the Coronavirus pandemic Craig showed off his abode with fans on social media.
He hosted with Holly on Wednesday and Thursday this week after the show sensationally lost at the National Television Awards.
For the first time in 12 years This Morning failed to scoop the gong for best Daytime TV Show.
Holly, Alison and Dermot watched on at the ceremony as BBC One’s The Repair Shop triumphed in the category.
