US President Joe Biden has welcomed India's request to purchase 31 drones from the US to enhance its defence capabilities. The meeting between Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi resulted in a joint statement highlighting the purchase of General Atomics MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft and the commencement of negotiations for a commercial agreement between GE Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited for jet engine manufacturing in India.
