I nearly died on a trip to the beach – I saw the universe’s best kept secret after a chilling warning from a deep voice
A WOMAN who endured a near-death experience has revealed that she wants to do it again after learning the “secrets of the universe.”
When Anna Stromquist impulsively decided to ignore lifeguard warnings on the beach, she didn’t expect to experience a life-altering situation.
As a teenager, Anna Stromquist nearly drowned in the ocean on a family vacation[/caption] Stromquist recalled her near-death experience on TikTok[/caption] The young woman has since shifted her career to focus on near-death experiences[/caption]At age 16, the healthcare professional recalls thinking she knew best and took a dip in the ocean while on vacation in a bid to cool down – despite the area being closed off.
Soon, panic started to set in as she struggled against the forceful waves.
She recalled “giving up” due to a lack of energy.
That’s when she says she heard a voice say: “This is what it’s like to die.”
Now, with a career focus on near-death experiences and a “time shift” under her belt, the 43-year-old is sharing her harrowing ordeal.
“It felt like time had stopped, because the whole thing felt like hours but it was only a few minutes,” Anna, from Atlanta, Georgia, told The U.S. Sun.
“I heard this voice deep within telling me I was dying and suddenly, I felt total peace.
“It was like I was being taken somewhere else.
“I was instantly connected to everyone who had ever died before me and I saw this secret to the universe that they had all seen.
“It was that death is natural and it was coming for all of us – but that’s OK, as it’s the secret to leading a peaceful afterlife.
“Through life, we are all connected to each other and it’s the same through death [with the relationships we’ve made].
“We are never alone when we [are] born or when we die.”
‘OCEAN SPIT ME OUT’
Anna recalls going on the family vacation in 1996 to Hawaii, where she decided to visit the beach alone.
While there, she noticed an area of the ocean which had been closed off due to dangerous swimming conditions with no lifeguard on duty.
Being impulsive, the teen jumped into the water anyway because it “didn’t look” unsafe, despite not being able to swim very well.
She said: “Some waves or currents started pushing me into the sea floor and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get my head to the surface.
“It was churning me around and I didn’t know what direction was up or down.
“I struggled for a long time until I had to eventually give up because I was out of energy.
“Suddenly, after my out-of-body experience, I was back on the beach – as if the ocean had spit me out.
“I was disappointed in a way because I had such weightlessness, but then my lungs were burning with salt water and there was sand in my mouth.
“It was physically exhausting.”
As nobody else was around, and she was left with many questions, Anna didn’t speak about her ordeal for years – until she realized her calling.
LIFE-CHANGING REALIZATION
Now, she’s dedicated her life and mission to researching near-death experiences and speaks about them on a spiritual level with others who have been through them too.
In one clip, posted on TikTok, which has racked up over 26,000 views and hundreds of likes, she discusses the “commonalities” reported.
She begins by revealing that there are 11 “universal” characteristics, including pinpoints of light, sense of peace, visitations from deceased relatives, joy, and an empathetic connection to mankind.
Anna also mentions the “secrets of the universe” being shown and a “360 life review” which discloses how others were affected by our decisions in life – good and bad.
Her final points include a realization of a more “familiar” reality, the decision to come back or not, a removed sense of the meaning of life, and returning with “supernatural powers” such as being able to see angels, those who have passed, and psychic predictions.
Users have flocked to the comments to share their own experiences, with many confirming these points to be true.
“As someone who had a NDE, I can confirm many of these for me were true,” Melaine commented.
Another user added: “I didn’t want to come back. I cried when I knew I had to come back. Nothing mattered, at all. The peace was indescribable.”
“I experienced most of them, not all,” Tesa said.
Amberly commented: “I wanted to stay.”
“It is hard to hear that individuals have a choice to come back…” another user said.
The spiritual wellness advisor says that the 11 characteristics within near-death experiences are similar to those felt during out-of-body experiences, which happen during intense pain or deep meditation.
CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE
While similar in revealing the universe’s greatest truths and secrets, they don’t have the same intensity as when a body comes close to dying.
But for the 43-year-old, she claims her experience has made her no longer have a fear of death.
“I am grateful it happened, because I’m no longer scared [of the inevitable],” Anna said.
“But I do fear losing people and my family losing me.
“It has reduced the fear of death and, of course, I have a physiological will to live and desire to survive, but I’m at peace knowing when death comes, it will connect me to everyone again.
“I’ve come away with a message to enjoy life and live it fully, because there is only a small window between life and death.
“I would like to experience another near-death experience, but I wouldn’t want to risk any injury or damage.
“In my heart, I know death isn’t scary, as it’s attached to my life and family in more ways than one.”
