The Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, will receive the first C-295 transport plane made for India by Airbus in Spain. The Indian Air Force has ordered 56 of these planes, with 16 to be made in Spain and the remaining 40 to be produced by a joint venture between Tata and Airbus in India.
