CT woman, 25, killed in head-on crash in Danbury
State police were looking for information about a crash involving a wrong-way driver that left a 25-year-old local woman dead on Route 7 in Danbury early Sunday.
Danielle Dempsey of Danbury was driving a Honda Accord in the southbound lane of Route 7, just north of the on-ramp for Exit 7, when she was struck head-on by a man reportedly driving the wrong way and killed, according to Connecticut State Police.
Charles Connors, 33, was driving his Dodge Challenger north in the southbound lanes about 1:57 a.m. when he struck Dempsey’s car, state police said. He was taken to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries from the crash.
