Hurricanes earn spot in Associated Press poll

After picking up a signature win over Texas A&M on Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes earned a spot in the Associated Press poll for the first time this season.

Miami is listed as the No. 22 team in the rankings, which were released Sunday afternoon.

The Hurricanes have not been ranked since they lost to Middle Tennessee State last September.

Miami is also ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll, where they are No. 23rd.

In addition to Miami, three other ACC teams are ranked this week: FSU (third), North Carolina (20th) and Duke (21st). The Hurricanes knocked Texas A&M out of the top 25 with their win.
